Console Application Runner Documentation now available

It's been a bit of a slog, but the documentation for the DelphiDabbler Console Application Runner classes has at last been ported to the delphidabbler/ddab-lib-docs repo on GitHub.

There are lots of examples of how to use the classes in the docs.

  1. I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is needed to get set up? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very web savvy so I'm not 100% positive. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

  2. Hi Ed

Good news for you. This blog runs on Google's Blogger and it doesn't cost a penny - totally free. All you need is a Google account to sign up.

Visit blogger.com to get you started.

Sorry I can't walk you through the process because when I go to blogger.com I get redirected to my blog, so I don't know what it looks like when you arrive and don't have a blog.

It's pretty easy to create a blog post. You just enter it in an online form, either as plain text (which you can format, add links etc) or as HTML.

There are plenty of free templates that you can use as-is or can edit. I use one of them that I've tweaked a little.

There are other alternatives to blogger - WordPress for example, but I only know blogger.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers

Comments are very welcome, but please don't comment here if:

1) You have a query about, or a bug report for, one of my programs or libraries. Most of my posts contain a link to the relevant repository where there will be an issue tracker you can use.

2) You have a query about any 3rd party programs I feature, please address them to the developer(s) - there will be a link in the post.

3) You're one of the tiny, tiny minority who are aggressive or abusive - in the bin you go and reported you will be!

Thanks
